A wide range of feature requests and quality of life updates requested directly by our venues
We've been working on loads of helpful features and quality of life improvements this month!
Everything you see here has been pulled from our big list of feature requests sent directly from our customers.
If you don't see your request here yet, don't worry... it's a big list and we're always coming back to it to see what new improvements we can make so please keep the requests coming.
Create One Off Ticketed Events
Events can now use tickets, and stop selling when the ticket amount has been reached. This means you can now set a specific ticket amount for each event, rather than only setting if the factored towards a limit or not. These can be created in the sessions and deposit pages.
Send Different Emails Per Session with Email Groups
You can now create different email groups and apply them to individual sessions, which means you can send create and edit different emails for each type of booking easily, and without having to use multiple session tags. These can be setup via the usual email settings page.
See Capacity at Glance with Capacity Management Overview
Capacity Management allows you to see the capacity of your venue at a glance, including what guests count towards your global limits and which don't. This allows front of house to make quick decisions on walk ins. Access this via the cart icon on the list or Gantt view.
Manage Bookings With Our New Advanced View (Beta)
Our advanced view functions similar to a live Excel sheet of all your bookings. Sort bookings by far more than just times, create filters and rules and save views. This feature is in beta but available to try out now from the main nav bar.
Custom Gantt Icons
You can now set a custom Gantt icon based on your custom fields. So if you make a custom field and want to see if a customer has entered any information, you can now also apply an icon to that booking for an easy overview.
Session Settings Cleanup
We've implemented a range of UI changes to our session pages in order to make it more obvious what settings do, fix some confusing terminology and show more relevant options earlier.
Major CRM Update
In case you missed it, we overhauled our CRM with a large amount of new features. There's too many to list here, but check out our blog post about this a few weeks back.
Booking Experience Feedback
All forms now as for feedback on the booking experience. You can learn more about this in our blog post from last week, and you see your own booking feedback on your analytics page.
Other changes and fixes:
- You can no longer tick "no show" or "arrived" until the day of the booking, solving issues where bookings were accidentally marked early.
- You can now optionally disable "Touch dragging" on the Gantt which is helpful for old devices or simply if you're finding yourself doing so accidentally
- Added an optional requirement for a full name on the booking form, in addition to the usual name.
- Fixed an issue where guest pickable times were not showing on the public form for some venues
- Removed redundant action buttons from gift card menu as this was causing some confusion
- Fixed a rare problem where non-accessible tables could be booked in accessible bookings if they were within a table chain of a certain size
- The "Enable Feedback" button is correctly showing the status of feedback enabled or not
- Fixed guest types not showing a "confirmed" message on saving details (They were saving fine, but it wasn't clear)
