Update 7.4

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! This is our last proper update of the year, and we'll now be heading into our Christmas feature lock, where we shift the focus to general stability and bug fixing for the festive period.

Added

✨ Our New Gift Card Designer is now live for all users after some beta testing earlier this week. We've also made it much easier to find information on the gift card pages in general, and made vital things like your sales link quicker to access.

✨ General Booking History is now far more complete and logging many more events and changes which make it easier for both you - and us here in the customer service team - to track what's been happening to a booking over time.

✨ Temporary closures now have a few new options, like being able to set custom tags and custom messages on days when you're fully closed. In fact, the whole system is just a little bit more visible and easier to use.

✨ You can now group bookings by time slot - this can be enabled in the admin panel options.

✨ We've added custom fields to the print view, a small change but very helpful if you use both!

✨ We've added a vastly improved Profit and Revenue Calculator onto the sell section of the main app. It's one of the more popular tools on the website that people have searched for, so we spent a bit of time updating and improving it and bringing it onto the main service.

Fixed

🔧We've fixed a fairly common error where the system would become unresponsive after searching bookings by name, but before refreshing the page.

🔧 We've managed to find a few commonly occurring but rarely reported 500 errors. Still see a 500 error regularly? Please let us know in chat and we'll do our best to eliminate it.

🔧 Fixed several recurring issues where gift card confirmation emails wouldn't send in some circumstances. We expect this will increase reliability of gift card sends to the same level as regular booking confirmations.

🔧 The "resend" button on gift cards now works properly in all cases.

🔧 Clicking re-yield from the actions menu no longer causes an error on certain venue setups

🔧You can now remove gift cards from your basket on all devices

🔧Fixed a 500 issue relating to the session page beta version not displaying events with 0 sales properly

🔧 The "Set opening times" link on the sessions page now goes through to opening times settings, as intended

🔧 Fixed a case where a customised post visit email may fail to send.

🔧 Fixed some issues with payment sections of the edit booking form timing out on busier venues as we were pulling more data than we needed

🔧 Fixed site logos and moved them across to a new server
