New Custom Gift Card Designer

Just in time for the holidays, we've made a few improvements to our gift card system based on feedback.

Most notably, you can now create your own gift card designs. These designs get sent to gift card customers as images they can save onto thier devices, alongside the regular gift card code in plain text to make it easy for them to copy when needed.

You can use these new features right now, and with any tier. If you've already got gift cards going out, they won't update to new designs until you go in and manually assign them.

If you're not already using gift cards -- now is a great time to start. You can be selling your first gift cards within moments and if you've already connected a Stripe account to take other payments, it's even easier to get started.

Creating Custom Designs

In the design section of gift card setup, you can now add your own design, including setting a custom background image, adding your logo, and playing with a variety of different fonts.

We've designed it so you can disable or move all the information we'd normally share, which means if you've already got a design in mind, you can simply upload it as a full image straight from Photoshop or Canva and be good to go.

For the less creatively inclined we've added some pre-made backgrounds and designs for you to use, allowing you to get setup in seconds but still share something a little more attractive than just a basic email and code.

Other Gift Card Tweaks

While in the gift card system, we've also made it a little clearer where certain essential things (like your actual sales link) can be found, and we've made it easier and quicker to resend emails - both to the original email and to a different one which can be incredibly helpful if your customer has put in the wrong email address by default.
