Payments & Deposits Update

We've updated our deposit system today!

If you're an existing customer using deposits, we've already converted you to the new system. There's nothing you need to do, but we'd recommend you check out the help guide for more detailed information.

This new update comes with a few changes and features to make managing mulitple deposits much easier.

Deposit Settings Update

We've updated the deposit page using a similar layout to guest types, as these elements of the site are very commonly used together.

We've removed "Custom deposits" and "Guest type" linking on session settings, although of course you can still make a deposit just for a single session!

This keeps the session pages nice and simple and makes for much easier cloning of sessions and events.

Itemisation

Your customers will now see a total split out by each separate element of the booking, including discount codes. This is a much more pleasant experience for your customers. Optionally, this can include showing or hiding any tax elements.

Time / Day Based Deposits

You can now set what times and days a deposit will run. This means that elements like separate weekend pricing, or peak time pricing, can be set up without having to set up and clone multiple sessions.

Single session can now use multiple different deposits, providing their days and times don't clash.

Easy Guest Types Linking

You can now easily link guest types with deposit. No more duplication problems, or needing to give each guest type a new deposit title.
